About the artists:
Cerebellum: High-energy Funk. Known for their 4ght, groovy performances, Cerebellum are a 6 piece instrumental band carving their way in the North-West music scene. Influenced by 70s Funk and Japanese Jazz Fusion, Cerebellum’s sound has been described as “The future of fusion music”.
Hannah McMillan is a singer-songwriter and keys player from North Yorkshire, based in Manchester. Her music is a modern mix of funk, soul and pop, incorporating catchy grooves with soulful vocals, mixing a live-band sound with ambient synths and vocal layers. Hannah draws influences from artists such as Jordan Rakei, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Olivia Dean.
Aaron Dinning is turning heads with his raw lyricism, fearless honesty and unmistakable voice. Dubbed as “writing the soundtrack for the queer kids,” the County Durham born artist grew up feeling ashamed of his sexuality – now writes the songs he wishes he’d heard from people like himself. His singles, Look Who’s Holding The Gun Now!, Seasons and At Imogen’s, have cemented his polished indie-pop sound, blending emotional depth with melodic hooks.
