Galivantes are an 8-piece female fronted disco ska reggae punk band hailing from Hulme Manchester that bring a mix of bouncy balkan disco skank with a subliminal power to the people message.  Their ethos is creating community and making people dance”

Started as a fun protest band, they have performed across the UK at festivals and protests, performing regularly in their home town Manchester as well as putting on their own gigs in Manchester at their home venue, The Old Abbey Taphouse.  Their focus is on creating community and making everyone dance!

They have played across the UK and in Europe, performing at festivals, music venues and protest gigs such as Enough is Enough and XR Manchester.

Started in 2016, over the years they have supported acts such as Akala, Seas of Mirth, The Baghdaddies and Honeyfeet and have made regular appearances at Beatherder, Shambala, Audiofarm, Kendall Calling, Boomtown and other UK festivals such as Manchester Punk Festival and New Mills Folk Festival.
