Band on the Wall presents a series of free entry gigs and DJ sets on our second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favourite emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Northern soul-sisters Chia Kali & Demi Baitsy makeup vibrant duo; DISCHI, Born & raised in Manchester mix musical influences spanning hiphop, disco, electronic and soul to create a magical cosmic-pop-potion sound.
Producing, writing, and performing all of their songs with an exciting and honest DIY approach. Their infectious energy has gained them live slots in their hometown and beyond at Manchester International Festival, Audio Farm Festival, and LoveMusicHateRacism, alongside releasing their debut single ‘Prime Time Dischi Sippin’ on PropaTopRecords (owned by Mancunian legend MC Skittles).
Proudly repping their city whilst putting out a universal sound has seen their single reach mixes on NTS Radio & Crack magazine, whilst they sit on an archive of new tunes, Dischi is the upcoming act to look out for.
