Make your own piece of electronic music inspired by electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001).
Starting with the Dr. Who theme as inspiration, you will create your own music informed by Delia’s archive, work and working methods. We will be using Delia’s approach to working with found sounds and resonant non-musical objects, recording then manipulating them and creating loops and atmospheric textures. This is intended as a fun and collaborative creative experience with instruments kindly donated by Korg UK and Apesoft (iVCS3 app).
The workshops are designed and delivered by professional composers and found sound enthusiasts Caro C and Daniel Weaver.
