Named Young Jazz Musician of the year 2016 – 2017 by The Musician’s Company, award winning bassist and composer Daniel Casimir has become a regular fixture within the UK jazz scene providing his heavy weight upright sound for the likes of Julian Joseph, Jason Rebello, Lonnie Liston Smith, Ashley Henry, Camilla George and Nubya Garcia.

‘Escapee’ features fellow rising stars on the scene, Moses Boyd, Joe Armon-Jones, Shirley Tetteh and features vocalist Tess Hirst.

Glowrogues are a Manchester based jazz, funk and hip hop band, founded by multi instrumentalist and composer Jim Molyneux.

Drawing on their inspiration from artists such as The Cinematic Orchestra, Snarky Puppy and The Robert Glasper Experiment, the band is made up of budding talent from Manchester and Birmingham’s jazz scenes; featuring members of Cinematic Folk Septet The Old Dance School, energetic Mancunian jazz juggernaut Beats & Pieces Big Band, as well as members of experimental jazz fusion trio Apes Grapes.
