We’re pleased to welcome global beat pioneers Da Lata back to Band on the Wall. It promises to be a wonderful night of Afro-Brazilian beats and dancefloor enticing rhythms! Touring on the back of sensational new album Fabiola, De Lata are burning bright with a whole new band under the leadership of founders Chris Franck and Patrick Forge.
In the10 years since their last album, the band certainly haven’t lost their instinct for the killer groove and happy meld. This comeback is still centred on Afro-Brazilia, but the electronica licks have vanished in favour of a more organic sound with added funk excursions. At the heart of is all is a cooking live band, fusing Afro-Brazilian influences with a dance-floor sensibility and a distinctly London attitude.

De Lata founding member and original DJ from Dingwalls seminal Sunday’s Jazz Session and KISS FM’s The Cosmic Jam, Patrick Forge will be taking the beats to the decks afterwards.
