One of Manchester’s most popular nights sees The Funk ‘n’ Soul Show goes live featuring a full live set by the thrilling Madrid vintage funk band The Sweet Vandals and DJ, actor and funkster about town Craig Charles manning the decks until 3am.

The Sweet Vandals are a raw & heavy funk Spanish quintet whose sensational music was famously used for the Fiat Bravo TV advert. Their singer, Mayka Edjo – an impressive & authentic soul sister- is one of the biggest revelations of the contemporary international funk scene. With her we find 4 marvellous funk musicians: Carlo Coupé (the band’s conductor; hammond organ), Jose Angel Herranz (guitar), Santi Martin (bass) & Javi Skunk (drums). This band are truly amazing live so expect this month’s Funk & Soul Club to really sizzle!
