Renowned saxophonist and flautist Carlos Ward played live at Band on the Wall with his Quartet on 20th June 1991. His Quartet at this time featured Michele Rosewoman on piano, Chulo Gatewood on bass and Pheeroan Aklaff on drums. In the same year, Ward played with Ed Blackwell Project and an album upon which he appeared with Don Pullen was released via Blue Note records.
