A full weekend of Beer ’n’ Blues. We present the finest artists the UK’s blues scene has to offer together with a 20 pump bar featuring brews from local breweries Green Mill, Hornbeam, Brightside, First Chop and many more. We close the weekend with one of the most of exciting rock/blues guitarist the UK has ever produced, Chantel McGregor.
Imagine the tone of Robin Trower, the feel of Bonnie Raitt, the inspiration ofHendrix, the influence of SRV, the energy of Bonamassa and the intensity of Walter Trout all rolled into one – ladies and gentlemen, introducing the formidable guitar talent that is Chantel McGregor.
Chantel McGregor first picked up a guitar when she was three and at the age of eight became the youngest person to pass a Rockschool grade. Later, she graduated with first class honours from Leeds College of Music, embarking on her career as guitarist and singer and winning the British Young Artist in the British Blues Awards 2011, British Female Artist in 2012 and in 2013 getting the awards for both Female Artist and British Blues Guitarist.
This is bone-crunchingly brilliant blues at its very best.
The Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open beforehand for delicious food and drinks.
