The new Beat the Jams… monthly jazz series showcases brings the very best of Manchester’s world renowned original jazz scene, for short rush hour gigs at the iconic Band on the Wall. What better way to avoid those endless queues, chaotic traffic and stressful homeward journeys

Unfurl achieve their own unique melange of styles, in this faithful blend of Indian traditional music and Jazz. Conjuring expressive musical images inspired by the earth and nature, they take the listener on a sublime, uplifting journey. The band craft folky melodies that sit atop a rhythmic bed of the cross-rhythms and syncopations of the Indian subcontinent. For our final Beat the Jams of the season, they will be showcasing music from their latest record Sleeping Giants.
