Chris Hawkins from BBC 6 Music reveals new live music club night ‘Awesome Friends’.
Launching at Band on the Wall, Chris will present an incredible night showcasing the hottest new live acts.
The Pale White are a Newcastle based alternative indie-rock trio who weave dark garage riffs, distorted bass and drums grooves with melodic, cutting lyricism. Production is underpinned by some of the same teams behind Royal Blood, Slaves, Muse and Foo Fighters which has seen the band sell out a number of shows in major UK cities already.
The Lounge Society hail from the Calder Valley in Yorkshire and have already garnered gushing reviews by the NME describing their work as, ‘Fierce anthems pusling with glitchy electronica before ghosting between disco and rock’n’roll’. Alternative heavyweights such as The Stokes, Fontaines D.C. and Wet Leg have called on the band for support touring duties, neatly encapsulating the bands sound, influences and perchant for ‘chaos’.
A standing show.
