Asere are proof that the future of Cuban music is in safe hands. With skillfull songwriting and a soulful groove these musicians have built a fresh sound for a new generation.
Drawing their inspiration from traditional Cuban music, seven young musicians formed Asere in the late 1990s to create roots music with a contemporary feel. Whilst respecting the musical soul of their forefathers they wrote new songs and came up with inventive arrangements delivered with an explosive punch.
