Art Battle Manchester will next stop at Band On the Wall where ten acclaimed street artists will pit their brush strokes against each other in front of up to 300 art fans to create a 30-minute masterpiece. Circulating the action and watching the art evolve; onlookers will decide which artist should progress to the grand final at the end of each round by voting for their favourite creation.

This time rumored artists include SLM, the street artist behind the critically acclaimed Northern Quarter portrait of Edward Snowden, and Fanny Gogh, so christened by The Sunday Sport, after making a collage from knickers donated by the cast of Shameless.

Audience members may walk away with a masterpiece at the end of the night too with all work created to be auctioned off, and the proceeds split between the artists and Band on the Wall Foundation who give a musical voice to children in local disadvantaged communities.

Art Battle Manchester will be a historic moment for Band on the Wall; more used to providing a platform to thousands of musical artists over the last century from Joy Division to Bjork, this event will see visual artists taking centre stage at the venue for the very first time.

This event will begin at 7pm but our Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open from 5.30pm for delicious food and drinks.
