Catch A Certain Ratio end their momentous tour right here at Band on the Wall!
We hosted their 33 1/3 anniversary celebrations back in 2011 – which sold out so quickly we needed to add an extra night. Our rich and entwined history with the pioneering Mancunian band makes any return of theirs special, but this time – even more so. They’ll be playing two separate – and very special! – sets. The first will be a deep dive into the early throes of their career, while the second will be an extensive look at everything that came later, running straight through to their most recent releases.
Afrobeat, experimental electronica, vintage funk, post-punk…A Certain Ratio are a prime example of the rich tapestry of Manchester’s ample music scene.
