Devon Lamarr Organ Trio – Sunday 19 October – Band on the Wall | Tickets

Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio specialise in the lost art of “feel good music.” The ingredients of this intoxicating cocktail include a big helping of the 1960s organ jazz stylings of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette; a pinch of the snappy soul strut of Booker T. & The M.G.’s and The Meters; and sprinkles Motown Records, Stax Records, blues, and cosmic Jimi Hendrix-style guitar.

Kourosh Kanani & Matt Davies – Thursday 11 September – The Copper Bar | Tickets

Marking a daring interplay of high intensity groove-rock carved from a profound understanding of South Indian rhythm. Matt Davies’ genius exploration of electronics and sub kicks led by celestial-bound melodies sourced from Kourosh’s Iranian heritage create a profoundly expressive voice and exploration of ancient culture making history in the world of contemporary music.

Adrian Younge – Thursday 20 November – Band on the Wall | Tickets

Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Adrian Younge is known for his dedication to analog sound and collaborations with artists such as Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, and João Donato. Adrian will be performing with an outstanding 10-piece orchestra to present ‘Something About April III‘ – the final chapter of his Brazil inspired psychedelic soul trilogy.

Marc Ribot – Tuesday 28 October – Band on the Wall | Ticket

Most renowned as a wildly inventive guitarist who has collaborated with Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, John Zorn, Wilson Pickett, Marianne Faithfull, Caetano Veloso, Solomon Burke, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Neko Case, among many, many others, Map of a Blue City features Ribot’s imaginative playing and leads to what may be his definitive statement as an instrumentalist, as a songwriter, and even as a singer.

Keyon Harrold – Wednesday 22 October – Band on the Wall | Tickets

Award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Keyon Harrold is touring in support of the GRAMMY nominated recording ‘Foreverland’ on the Concord label. This is an outstanding crossover album with features a bevy of collaborators. British R&B vocalist Laura Mvula sings on the title track ‘Foreverland’. Emerging young singer Malaya is featured on ‘Don’t Lie’. Common and Robert Glasper contribute to the song ‘Find Your Peace’.
