Band on the Wall are proud to announce a stunning programme of events with the Manchester Jazz Festival in May 2020, hosting a variety of matinée and evening shows within our venue, and a special one-off performance at the Royal Northern College of Music. We’ll be presenting live performances from the likes of folk-hop 7-piece Honeyfeet, afro-jazz groove drivers Nubiyan Twist, soulful Cameroonian singer Blick Bassy, acid jazz legends James Taylor Quartet and formidable singer-songwriter Kirsty Almeida.
For a good few years, Honeyfeet has been a conduit for the ideas and expressions of an exotic mixture of Manchester-based musicians. Jazz? Yes, some of that! Folk? Stick that in there! Hip-hop? I thought you’d never ask!

The formidable singer-songwriter and force of nature Kirsty Almeida returns to the stage. Kirsty makes a welcome comeback with her strongest album to date and a highly personal reflection on life, love and dreams.
