Manchester-based MC Sangy, who headlines Inner City Waves #6 at Band on the Wall in one week’s time, has shared some lo-fi visuals for his excellent new cut Diamonds. The self-produced effort showcases the rapper’s multiple talents and builds upon the economical verses of his subsequent track Wa$ted. Last month saw Sangy’s video for D£ATH premiering via EARMILK, a woozy downtempo number upon which he captures the macabre aspects of rolling news and media saturation.
Elsewhere KSR, the D’Angelo-influenced RnB vocalist who joins Sangy on the same ICW#6 bill, recently hopped on an instrumental produced by Argentinian Cucu. Listen to Destination for a taste of KSR’s vocal stylings.
Finally, emcee OneDa, who alongside producer July 7 rounds off the ICW#6 bill, is due to drop a new freestyle tomorrow, which you should look out for on her social media platforms.
