Saxophonist, keys player and producer Terrace Martin was co-producing Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly last year and this year has found himself producing music for Herbie Hancock and YG among others. He recently joined Herbie Hancock for a live performance broadcast by Jazz Night in America, which you can watch below.
Terrace Martin brings his group The Polly Seeds, featuring several players who appeared on his latest record Velvet Portraits, to Band on the Wall on 14th November, kicking off what will be a special week of live music here at the venue, with The Cookers, Robert Glasper, Incognito, Mayer Hawthorne and Charlie Hunter also playing live.
