Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles’ pre-show playlist

Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles kick off their UK tour on Sunday with a show at O2 Academy in Islington, ahead of shows in Brighton, Birmingham and a sold out show here at Band on the Wall.

In anticipation of the tour, Cory and co. have selected some inspirational tracks for a pre-show playlist, to get you in the mood for the Funk Apostle experience. It features some classic music from Billy Preston, Marvin Gaye and D’Angelo among others.

Led by Cory Henry on keys, synths and vocals, the Funk Apostles also feature drummer Taron Lockett, bassist Sharay Reed, guitarist Andrew Bailie and keys player Nick Semrad. Get to know the band below.
