Mark Kozelek, singer and songwriter behind Sun Kil Moon and his own Caldo Verde records, will release his new covers album, Mark Kozelek sings Favourites, on 27th May. The collection is Kozelek’s second solo studio album of non-original numbers, following 2014’s Mark Kozelek Sings Christmas Carols, and features renditions of songs by Waylon Jennings, Bob Seger and Modest Mouse among others.
Guest vocalists on the album include Will Oldham, widely known as Bonny ‘Prince’ Billy, who collaborated with Kozelek on the 2014 Sun Kil Moon album Benji, Mike Patton, Mini Driver, Mimi Parker and Rachel Goswell.
