Mammal Hands have released a new track entitled Hourglass along with an accompanying music video. The track, which will appear on their forthcoming album Floa, builds upon minimal foundations with arpeggiated piano, tabla percussion and a focussed soprano saxophone solo from Jordan Smart.
The album, due for release on Gondwana records at the end of May, was produced by jazz musician Matthew Halsall, and will be made available in various digital formats, as well as on CD and LP, via Bandcamp.
Mammal Hands will perform live at Band on the Wall on 28th July, as part of the Manchester Jazz Festival.
