The Funky Knuckles, the seven piece instrumental outfit from Dallas, Texas, played live at Band on the Wall on 16th April, alongside Snarky Puppy guitar Mark Lettieri, fronting his trio, which included Wes Stephenson and Cecil Moore of The Funky Knuckles.
The group bring an energetic and rhythmic fusion of jazz, funk, rock and RnB, keeping a strong groove as well as venturing off into improvisational territory. They came to Band on the Wall armed with some new music from their forthcoming album, released on GroundUP music this Summer.
