Band on the Wall proudly presents a special NYE edition of Keep It Unreal at Old Granada Studios with Mr. Scruff, Qool DJ Marv & Kelvin Brown rolling up their sleeves for a 7 hour DJ session, hosted by MC Kwasi, the original smile factory. They will be serving up a melting pot of jazz, soul, hip hop, funk, disco, deep house, reggae, afrobeat, latin, techno and plenty of goodies that don’t fit into any category. Proper soulful party music for dancing folk who want the real deal on NYE.
NYC resident Qool DJ Marv is a bit of a legend in Manchester, having played at many of the Fat City/Friends & Family sessions over the years. He caused quite a ruckus at the last F&F at The Roadhouse earlier this year, and it is great to be able to invite him back. A truly inspirational DJ & a lovely chap to boot!
Kelvin Brown has been holding it down as one of Manchester’s finest resident DJs at the Electric Chair & Eyes Down. He is a fearless selector of the finest order!
Old Granada Studio is an amazing venue, with really good acoustics. We are bringing in a top notch D&B V-series PA.
Band on the Wall will be taking care of the bar, so expect some lovely ales.
