Young, bold and unfathomably talented’, Rook & The Ravens are a super-tight 5-piece from the Dark Peak, who play articulate, edgy, self-assured rock/folk/pop, packed with energy, hooks and harmonies. Headlining Acoustic Bhuna with their stripped-down acoustic line up, just weeks after stepping off the plane from a 3 week tour of The States. This may well be your last chance to see Rook And The Ravens before they go global!
One of the north-west’s finest young folk song writers, Acoustic Bhuna is delighted to welcome Tom Metcalfe back to the Picturehouse stage. Tom‘s beautiful blend of flamenco guitar and folk story-telling has been making waves with audiences all around Lancashire and beyond for some time now. His songs are thoughtful, thought provoking, often understated, yet powerful tales of the changing times.
Doors open at 5pm, music starts at 6:30pm. FREE ENTRY.
As a perfect accompaniment to the live music, you can tuck into one of Chef Giles’ fresh, home made curries, made with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of love. And why not wash it all down with a refreshing pint of cask ale from our sponsors, Green Mill Brewery?
