DJ Yoda in association with Wall of Sounds Presents: Breakfast of Champions.
On the 15th September DJ Yoda will meet with 13 carefully selected musicians, vocalists and visual artists to work together over 5 intense days to create a new and totally original performance live at Band on the Wall on Friday 19th September 9pm – 2am.
Over 150 applications were submitted to take part in this residency, we’ve now chosen what we believe to be some of the finest artists from across the country. The week will involve high level musical composition, experimentation & performance aimed to support and push the artistic development of these emerging professional musicians.
Each artist brings their own experiences, musicality and genre specialisms, and have already made significant impact in their field. We believe that under the direction of DJ Yoda, whose music is dynamic, richly humorous and assertively innovative, we will create a performance to exceed all expectations.
Supporting DJ Yoda will be The Mouse Outfit collaborator Sparkz, rapper Truthos Mufasa rising hip hop star Rex Domino, visuals expert Zach Walkr, rounding off the team is the classically trained string musician Lachland Radford from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
