Refunds and Cancelled Shows – Important Information

You may have heard that Band on the Wall is temporarily closing its doors until September 2021, to complete planned renovation works to the historic building.

We had intended to have a full programme of live music until the end of 2020, but uncertainly around the COVID-19 pandemic has made this unviable.

This means that all shows at Band on the Wall until September 2021 are either cancelled, postponed, or have been moved into alternate venues.

As you can imagine, organising this has been a huge logistical challenge, especially in the face of a huge public health emergency, and the financial crisis the music industry currently finds itself in.

We know many of you have contacted us regarding your tickets, and we thank you for the amazing patience and understanding you have shown over the past few months.

When we re-open our famous doors next year, we would like to make sure that we’re even stronger, and in striving to do this we need your support more than ever before. We have lost our ticket income for almost the entirety of this year, and with these cancellations it of course means that all of you that have purchased tickets for a cancelled event are entitled to a refund.

However, instead of a refund, if you would like to donate your ticket money back to Band on the Wall to help us come back strong then you can select this option.

Band on the Wall is a not for profit, registered charity and we rely on the goodwill of our valued customers to keep doing what we do.

If you are able to make this choice we would be deeply grateful. Although, we do appreciate that especially during this time of uncertainty this might not be possible for all of our customers. Whatever you do decide to do we just hope that you can join us when we re-open.

Many thanks and see you soon,
Everyone at Band on the Wall

What happens to my ticket?

All ticket holders will receive an email from our ticket agent with a unique link to select which option you’d like to take.

Please check your spam folder, as ticket emails can occasionally end up in there.

Cancelled Show – Donate Ticket

If you would like to donate your refund to Band on the Wall’s charitable activities, please select this option in the email from the ticket agent. This would really help us come back stronger in 2021.

Cancelled Show – Refund

If you want a refund, please select this option in the email from the ticket agent and you will receive a refund.

Please note, time restrictions apply and you must respond by Wednesday 30th September 2020, or we’ll assume you have kindly donated your ticket to our charitable activities.

Postponed Shows

We’ve tried really hard to minimise the number of outright cancellations, so many shows have been postponed to next year when we re-open, or moved into other similar venues. In these cases, we’d urge you to keep hold of your tickets as these will be valid for the new dates and venues.
