Google Analytics

When someone visits our website, we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

  • Your usage by access time and frequency.

Mailing Lists

When you sign up to the Band on the Wall newsletter or opt-in to receive marketing emails when purchasing a ticket, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons; to share events, news and content you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use an industry standard third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletters. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe or update your preferences and contact information at any time by clicking the links at the bottom of any of our email newsletters.

Ticketing Data

When you purchase tickets from Band on the Wall or our official ticket outlets, your name, address, email and contact number will be stored in our database, FileMaker Pro, in addition to databases held by the ticket outlet themselves. Tickets purchased via the Band on the Wall website are processed by Ticketline. Unless you choose to ‘opt-in’ to receive marketing materials these data will not be added to our marketing database. You will however still receive administrative correspondence relating to the event you have purchased tickets for – including notification of any cancellation or changes to the event.

You may purchase tickets in person from the venue box office, for face value, without supplying the aforementioned personal data. In this instance you may still be asked to provide optional contact information so we can get in touch in the event the show is cancelled, postponed or has to change venue.

We do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.

When you take out a membership with Band on the Wall your details are stored on our WooCommerce site, Stripe for payments and Passkit for the digital card services, your name and membership number are stored on Samtouch our Point of Sale (till) system to access the discounts and pricing offers associated with your membership and track your purchases to offer you relevant deals. You will be entered onto our membership mailing list and will be contacted with offers relevant to your membership with us. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
