About

Band on the Wall’s Learning and Participation Programme offers a range of inspiring, interesting and challenging opportunities for non-formal, hands-on learning. We feel we have a wide range of musical activities for all ages and tastes that include and value all participants regardless of age, experience or ability.

Some of our programmes are aimed at experienced music makers, some are open to everyone, some are for younger and for older people. All will be inspiring, supportive and give opportunities to learn perform and practice in Manchester’s best live music venue.

Take a look at the courses and one off events we are offering at the moment; most will be supported by online resources and recordings of key sessions and performances. Tutors are all experienced and recognised artists in their field and have years of experience in leading groups. We have a list of exciting visiting guest artists to lead some sessions including Mary Keith on October 12th with Picturehouse Choir and a special Global Grooves masterclass weekender on 10-11th December. Keep an eye on the Courses pages for more information and sign-up for BANDWIDTH membership to receive regular L&P updates and special offers.
