Where the World Comes to Play

Band on the Wall celebrates the discovery and enjoyment of the music of all cultures, traditions and people – as well as award-winning gigs, we’re a space where everyone can come to explore and create music of their own, regardless of experience.

World of Music is our exciting new learning programme, open to all. No matter what your musical experience is there is a group or a class just for you.

We believe that everyone, of all backgrounds and abilities should be able to enjoy and create music. We aim to offer an accessible programme catering for young people who would like to experience live music for the first time, right through to opportunities for accomplished musicians to perfect their craft whilst networking with others.

For those wanting a more formal learning experience, our accredited courses delivered by the Manchester College offer a unique opportunity to develop your skills and gain the qualifications needed to help kickstart a career in the music industry.

See our weekly courses and classes below, and keep scrolling to explore our projects, teaching resources and more.

If you have any queries before subscribing, please email Alice (Learning Programme Manager) on learning@bandonthewall.org

World of Music is made possible thanks to the kind support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
