At Band on the Wall, we want everyone to have a safe, welcoming and memorable experience. Whether you’re here for a gig, club night, workshop or event, we ask everyone to help us create an environment where people feel respected, included and able to enjoy themselves.

Everyone is Welcome

We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, nationalities, disabilities, genders and sexualities.

We celebrate diversity and have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment or abusive behaviour of any kind.

Wear what makes you feel comfortable. Be yourself. If anyone makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwelcome, please speak to a member of staff. We’re here to help.

Respect Each Other

Everyone deserves to enjoy their visit.

Please respect other people’s personal space and be mindful of those around you. Harassment, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, threatening behaviour or violence will not be tolerated.

If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, tell a member of staff or a member of our security team. We’ll take your concerns seriously and respond appropriately.

Looking After Each Other

If you’re feeling unwell for any reason, please let us know. Our team is trained to help and will do everything we can to support you, whether that’s providing water, a place to sit, first aid or arranging further medical assistance if needed.

If you’ve taken something that’s made you feel unwell, please tell us. Our priority is your wellbeing, not judgement.

Responsible Drinking

We are committed to promoting responsible drinking and operate in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.

We cannot serve alcohol to anyone who is intoxicated or to anyone attempting to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone who is intoxicated.

Where someone is vulnerable, we’ll do our best to ensure they are safe and have appropriate support before leaving the venue.

If you see anything that concerns you—whether it’s harassment, discrimination, suspicious behaviour or someone who appears to need help—please speak to a member of staff or our security team straight away.

Your safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we’d always rather you told us than worried in silence.
