Winter Celebration January 2025 Flyer

Before the project formally began, we invited potential participants to Band on the Wall for a day of live music, food and dancing. This included workshops and talks from the music leaders from the project, to give people a taste of what the workshops would be like. More than 80 people attended, and it was a day filled with energy, enthusiasm and community.

This event was made possible through many partnerships – thanks to Withington Food Bank, Caritas, Creative Support, MUD Kitchen who helped CAN and Band on the Wall make this event come to life.

The invite below was distributed to residents in emergency hotel accommodation, with information translated into the most commonly spoken languages in the spaces.
