Heritage Window Displays

Created as part of the World of Music project, the Heritage Window Display Films transformed the windows of Band on the Wall’s restored Cocozza building into a public storytelling space. Drawing on archive material, oral histories, photography, film and music, the films explored the stories of the diverse migrant communities who have shaped Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Ancoats over the last two centuries
