Hamsaz Ensemble Perform Around Manchester

Hamsaz Ensemble, one of the artists involved in our Spotlight Artist Development Programme, perform at iconic locations in Manchester.

Hamsaz Ensemble are a collective of Iranian diaspora musicians, who combine traditional instruments such as the setar, santur and daf with contemporary approaches. Their work connects Persian musical heritage with present-day questions of identity, storytelling and political expression.
