Mammal Hands ‘Shift’, live at Band on the Wall
Mammal Hands are a trio hailing from Norwich, signed with Gondwana Records. Drawing on influences from Steve Reich to Bonobo and Pharoah Sanders to Cinematic Orchestra, alongside elements of North Indian and African music, they produce music that is, at times, wistful and melancholic, and others raucous and catchy. This performance was during the Manchester Jazz Festival on 28th July 2016.
Nick Smart – Piano
Jordan Smart – Saxophone
Jesse Barrett – Drums & Percussion
