We are Manchester Live: Sia Raw

  • Thursday | 12.03.26
  • 8.00pm
  • Band on the Wall, Manchester

Sia Raw is a genre-defiant band, fusing soulful intensity, experimental textures, and unfiltered emotion into every note. Their sound is a force born of friction, where tenderness collides with distortion, and beauty emerges from chaos. They formed in January 2025, and what followed was a natural chemistry that turned individual talent into something magnetic.

At the heart of Sia Raw is their front woman, an exceptionally gifted 20 year old vocalist and lyricist, whose voice and words are as raw as they are powerful. She doesn’t just sing, she shape-shifts through each track, channeling deep emotion and nuance with every phrase. Both her vocals and lyrics serve as the emotional core of the music, guiding listeners through waves of vulnerability, strength, and transformation.

Sia Raw’s sound is the product of a perfect storm, where each member’s unique energy fuels a bold, unified vision. Alongside Sia is Ben Robinson on drums (formerly of the cult indie band Twisted Wheel) whose relentless energy and precision, anchors the band’s rhythms with force and finesse. Isaac Walbrooke and Jack Wild on guitars both bringing their own distinct styles, creating a perfect contrast that seamlessly blends together, crafting a sound that’s both dynamic and cohesive. Ethan McCaffery on bass, lays down a solid backbone, he creates pulsating grooves that provides momentum to the sound. Together, they infuse the band’s raw lyricism, layering it with a vibe that’s both smooth yet intense. Their sound is both visceral and immersive, shaped by the unspoken chemistry between musicians who effortlessly blend their talents into something undeniably compelling.

Their debut single, “Pull of you” released on April 7th, this was just the beginning, a bold introduction to a band that’s unapologetically honest, fiercly medallic , and ready to shake up the music scene!

With now a second single “By Your Side” released on 26th July.
