DESCRIPTION:For twenty five years\,&nbsp\;New York&nbsp\;based saxophonist&nbsp\;Greg Osby&nbsp\;has made an indelible mark on contemporary jazz bringing insight and innovation to his own ensembles and as guest with other acclaimed outfits. Next month\, he makes a very rare&nbsp\;UK&nbsp\;appearance as guest of the exciting Swiss trio&nbsp\;Vein\, who make their&nbsp\;UK&nbsp\;debut.
 A piano trio with a difference\, Vein create exciting\, dynamic and innovative music with a nod to deeply held traditional values.&nbsp\; For these two&nbsp\;UK&nbsp\;dates they invite Osby\, a passionate live performer and long time collaborator\, to present music from the trio&rsquo\;s new recording\,&nbsp\;Vote For Vein\,&nbsp\;alongside original quartet compositions.&nbsp\; Expect a night of classy\, powerful\, music played with passion\, drive\, superb interplay and improvisational finesse.
 Creating an almost symbiotic interplay with their stupendous musical togetherness and concept of &lsquo\;equality for all&rsquo\;\, Vein never fails to find Greg Osby an incredibly inspiring addition\, who in the 80&rsquo\;s served as a member of the renowned M-Base Collective and has worked with some of the most experimental figures in jazz including Andrew Hill and Steve Coleman. Together\, the quartet perform groove-heavy\, lyrical\, rhythmically and harmonically complex pieces\,&nbsp\;fizzing with crackling energy.
 Vein&nbsp\;are a magnificent trio with drummer&nbsp\;Florian Arbenz&nbsp\;at the helm.&nbsp\; Arguably one of he best drummers in&nbsp\;Europe&nbsp\;and winner of a European Culture Award\, Florian is joined by his brother&nbsp\;Michael Arbenz&nbsp\;on piano\, for whom too international stardom beckons.&nbsp\; The trio is complete with bassist&nbsp\;Thomas L&auml\;hns&nbsp\;who equally deserves the prodigy status.
