DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome r&rsquo\;n&rsquo\;b influenced jam band Snarky Puppy. Recent Grammy Award winners\, their star is certainly rising.
The New York-based quasi-collective has gone from the best-kept secret to one of the most respected names in instrumental music. They have just earned a Grammy for Best R&B Performance with featured guest&nbsp\;Lalah Hathaway\, and their last album\,&nbsp\;Family Dinner - Volume One\, charted at #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. &nbsp\;This show will feature all-new music from forthcoming album We Like it Here - to be released in February.
With a deep knowledge&nbsp\;and respect for the tradition\, their music&nbsp\;ranges from raw funk&nbsp\;and soul through to&nbsp\;lyrical melodies and lush&nbsp\;harmonies and delivers&nbsp\;a delicate mixture of composition and improvisation. Their live&nbsp\;shows are unparalleled&nbsp\;in energy\, virtuosity\, and&nbsp\;sheer musicianship.&nbsp\;We are in for a treat!
