 As well as being a band leader and top level jazz multi-instrumentalist\, Neil has worked sessions with The Brand New Heavies\, Supergrass\, Black Grape\, Lighthouse Family\, Alison Moyet\, Will Young\, Raw Stylus\, Suggs\, Matt Bianco and Robbie Williams.
 
 He is now much in demand as a composer and arranger\, receiving large scale commissions\, including an hour long suite for brass called DQUOTESketches of a Northern TownDQUOTE and an antiphonal suite for jazz orchestra entitled DQUOTESurroundingsDQUOTE*nominated for British Composers Award 2011.
 
 He also created DQUOTEUndividedDQUOTE - a suite for jazz orchestra and ceilidh band which premiered at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of Celtic Connections 2015
