DESCRIPTION:After a long hiatus\, Lowkey is back! Known for his controversial yet incredible lyricism on real life issues\, Lowkey is an English rapper and political activist of Iraqi descent who first became known through a series of mixtapes released when he was just a teenager.
 
 After an initial hiatus following his revered mixtape releases\, he returned in 2008 to wider coverage\, featuring on BBC Radio and appearing at various festivals in the buildup to his first solo album Dear Listener\, as well as collaborating with other famous English musicians. He released his second solo album Soundtrack to the Struggle in 2011. He retired from the music business in 2012 to concentrate on his studies\, but is now back for a string of hugely anticipated and rare live performances.
