 Formed in 1990\, Chetham&rsquo\;s Big Bands have enjoyed considerable success on the national jazz scene\,&nbsp\;broadcasting on Jazz FM and the BBC from&nbsp\;London&rsquo\;s Golders Green Hippodrome and&nbsp\;Birmingham&rsquo\;s Pebble Mill Studios. They have won&nbsp\;many awards including the Junior Section of the&nbsp\;BBC Radio 2 Big Band of the Year Competition in&nbsp\;1996\, 2000 and 2005.&nbsp\;This performance at the Band on the Wall will&nbsp\;feature both of Chetham&rsquo\;s Big Bands and a number&nbsp\;of Jazz Ensembles\, presenting a magical evening of&nbsp\;great charts performed by the students from the&nbsp\;internationally renowned Chetham&rsquo\;s School of&nbsp\;Music. The programme will include music by Count&nbsp\;Basie\, Sammy Nestico and Gordon Goodwin.
 Pre-concert jazz ensembles will perform from 6.45pm and the concert will begin at 8pm. Our Picturehouse Cafe Bar will be open from 5.30pm for delicious food and drinks.
