DESCRIPTION:Chaotic rhythms interweaved with cinematic swells and minimalist melodies - Brekky Boy blends instrumental electronic jazz to evoke the emotions felt when watching a Studio Ghibli film. Drawing on artists such as GoGo Penguin\, BADBADNOTGOOD and Robert Glasper\, the Montreux Jazz Award nominees have rapidly made a name for themselves as trailblazers in the Australian instrumental music scene. 

The trio has sold out shows across the country\, hosted the Montreux Jazz Festival official jam sessions in 2019 and 2022\, supported Blue Note artist Ambrose Akinmusire and featured at festivals SXSW (US)\, Jazzahead (DE)\, BIGSOUND (AU)\, Melbourne International Jazz Festival AU\, Tallinn Music Week EE & more.
