 Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month\, between 6 and 10pm\, you will be able to see three of the regions finest acts playing for FREE in the cosy setting of Band On The&nbsp\;Wall's Picturehouse Cafe-Bar.&nbsp\;

 Death to the Strange
 Death&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;Strange's&nbsp\;reputation is growing exponentially since blowing Babyshambles out of the water during their recent support slot at Manchester Academy.&nbsp\; Five&nbsp\;Manchester lads with a passion for making genuine and interesting music that is true&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;their working-class roots\, the&nbsp\;songs are sharp\, energetic\,&nbsp\;instantly memorable indie-pop&nbsp\;classics. One of the best up-and-coming bands in Manchester at the moment.
 
 Papa Guns.&nbsp\;Once upon a wintry eve\, some-time guitar twiddler and seasoned warbler&nbsp\;Papa&nbsp\;Dubs stumbled into a Manchester tavern\, drawn by the peculiar and enchanting&nbsp\;rhythms emanating from within. There he found local beatsmith Alec Splatt\, surrounded by trumpets\, walloping and a-wailing like a sweaty musical messiah.&nbsp\;DQUOTEAlec\, Alec\, put down your sticks! Pick up a guitar and sing me some Sam Cooke!DQUOTE\, cried&nbsp\;Papa. DQUOTEI shall\, but only if you take this cello and play me some Swedish folk!DQUOTE\,&nbsp\;replied Alec. The deal was struck\, the cider flowed and\, come the morning\,&nbsp\;Papa&nbsp\;Guns&nbsp\;was born\; Manchester's finest purveyors of&nbsp\;sunshine&nbsp\;harmony&nbsp\;folk-pop refreshment.Skutch&nbsp\;Manos&nbsp\;(formerly&nbsp\;The Acoustic Conquistador) is a flamenco guitarist from Lancashire whose firecracker performances at Band On The Wall's&nbsp\;Sunday&nbsp\;Sessions&nbsp\;in&nbsp\;2012 and 2013 left the audience breathless and baying for more. Flamboyant\, energetic and precociously talented\,&nbsp\;Skutch&nbsp\;Manos' playing is as frenetic as it is accomplished.&nbsp\;Blink and you might miss it!As a perfect accompaniment to the live music\, you can tuck into one of Chef Giles' fresh\, home made curries\, made with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of love.&nbsp\;And why not wash it all down with a refreshing pint of cask ale from our sponsors\, Green Mill Brewery?
