Superorganism + special guests

  • Saturday | 14.10.17
  • 7.00pm
  • Band on the Wall, Manchester
  • £9 ADVANCE

One of the most hotly-tipped new groups breaking through today, the enigmatic Superorganism perform live at Band on the Wall.

Described as an eight-piece with members spread between New England and London, one of them is a 17-year-old from Maine, but little more is known…yet.

Superorganism gained attention after their breakout track “something for your M.I.N.D,” appeared online, now mysteriously removed. We can only hope that it reappears soon.

If you’re quick, you can still grab a listen over at the Hype Machine…

“A hopelessly replayable loosie that sounds about halfway between The Moldy Peaches and the first Toro Y Moi album, something about the track feels both cool and uncool at the same time, like it’s trying exactly hard enough.” – The Fader

“With it’s wonky, stickysweet synth bass wobs and lazy flickers of guitar melting alongside some of the slickest, most confidently nonchalant vocals you’ll hear on any debut this year, “something for your M.I.N.D.” will sell you within its first thirty seconds. And before you realise it, you’re hitting repeat again and again, and again.” – The Line of Best Fit

This is a standing show. Presented by Now Wave and SJM Concerts.
