San Francisco duo Myron & E create modern soul music with a classic throwback feel.
Myron & E are backed by The Soul Investigators, who worked with them on a string of 45s released on Timmion Records in recent years, as well as with Nicole Willis.

“We maintain a relationship with classic soul,” Myron says. “To me, that was the greatest music that ever existed. There were hundreds of groups back then that were never discovered, but are phenomenal. We’re trying to keep the spirit of that alive.” Songs like ‘Broadway’ and ‘Give You All My Love’ may boast classic soul instrumental and vocals, but modern production and unforgettable hooks bring the sound up to date.

On Stones Throw Records, Myron & E affirm the cult US indie label’s standing as a hub for modern soul music following in the footsteps of recent successes Aloe Blacc and Mayer Hawthorne.

This duo are not to be missed and are probably the closest you will get to “classic soul” these days.
