19 September / 19:30 / More Info / Buy Tickets

Band on the Wall has a long history presenting young bands, with the New Manchester Review and Showcase Well North of London. Any Dark Night continues this tradition, giving flourishing young acts the opportunity to play at the venue, and reach a new audience. This night presents three of the North West’s newest acts, and is just £6 in!

The Vacancy Project are one of Manchester’s most promising acts, their influences range from Led Zeppelin to Amy Winehouse, which shines through beautlifully in their live performances. Having gigged relentlessly since first getting together, they’ve been backed by press and radio across the Greater Manchester as ones to watch.

The Jonny Oates Band introduce saxophone and keyboards to Jonny Oates’ folk rooted, Springsteen influenced songs, giving them jazz and rock flavour. They’ve been recording recently, and already have a strong backlogue of songs, as well as as some eclectic covers.

The Cheshire-based Robin Pierce Band have a unique take on folk-rock, with influences from the likes of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Dallas Green and Mumford & Sons. RPB are Upbeat, catchy and awash with simple and heartfelt melodies, from the memorable choruses of “Jack” & “Fanfare”, to the hypnotic build of “Hello, Old Friend”, and with the newly released “Old Friend E.P”
