Craig Charles returns for another night of Funk n Soul prestige, with great live music and a DJ set from the man himself. This months live act are Lack of Afro.
Making a welcome return to Band on the Wall for Craig Charles’ Funk n Soul club, Lack of Afro Band are the live incarnation of Andy Gibbons’ dance friendly funk recordings. Producing for all manor of artists made Andy the versatile music maker he is, capable of penning funky tracks that capture the essence of the genre.
All in all Gibbons has worked on over 60 releases, producing and remixing for a number of artists as well as releasing under monikers The Unity Sextet and Fat Thumbs Ronnie as well as Lack of Afro.
As ever, Craig Charles takes to the stage to deliver another fine DJ set, with an assortment of great funk and soul as well as a few other popular numbers that are guaranteed floor fillers.
