Ticket Discount For Mcr Confidential Card Holders!

If you're a Manchester Confidential Hero or Friend, you're entitled to a string of excellent discounts at music institution Band on the Wall.

You can get a 20% discount on tickets for all concerts, plus savings on venue hire and private bookings of musicians through Band on the Wall's music agency service.

The 20% discount on concert tickets is a great saving for music lovers. Band on the Wall has one of the best live programmes in the city – they book legendary acts across the spectrum of jazz, indie, reggae, electronic, funk, soul, folk and everything in between. If you want to discover something new that'll leave you amazed, or catch an up-and-coming act before they make it big, or see an established star performing an intimate venue, this is the place to go.

To get your ticket discount, just buy online as normal then select 'members rate' from
the drop down menu to get the discount. When you go to the concert, you MUST show your Hero or Friend card on the door.

Heroes and Friends also get a 10% discount on venue hire at Band on the Wall. There are lots of options available – you can hire the concert hall itself, the Picturehouse café bar, the balcony area, a meeting room or a music room. Click here to find out more.

Terry Callier To Play at Band on the Wall Celebrations

Band on the Wall celebrates 1 year since reopening with a very special concert by legendary troubadour Terry Callier.

With a career spanning five decades and a back catalogue of 16 albums, soul troubadour Terry Callier can be described as one of the truly great music legends. This is a rare chance to see him perform live with full backing band as Band on the Wall celebrates its first birthday party since its reopening last year.

Callier has collaborated with hundreds of artists including childhood friend Curtis Mayfield, Nitin Sawhney, Beth Orton, Paul Weller and more recently Massive Attack. His numerous recordings include the classic albums What Colour Is Love and Fire On Ice and Northern Soul Anthem I Don’t Want To See Myself.

In recent years Callier has gone from strength to strength, with a string of critically acclaimed albums and stunning live performances including Timepeacein 1998 that won the United Nations’ Time for Peace Award.

Band on the Wall takes the Transpennine Express takes the fast road to Leeds to present Reggae legends The Mighty Diamonds and progressive punk upstarts Chrome Hoof at The Wardrobe.

Band on the Wall takes the incredible Chrome Hoof to The Wardrobe in Leeds for this spectacular night.

Chrome Hoof are a 10-piece, space-jazz obsessed, progressive-doom band in glittering capes. Theirs is a world of psychedelic futurism, described as, “joining the dots between intergalactic disco and satanic menace.”
