The wonderful Shooglenifty have been called acidcroft - a celtic fusion that brilliantly melds the intense trippy instrumentals of bands like Ozric Tentacles with a folk musicality that harks back to Fairport Convention at their finest. Throw in some incredibly danceable rhythms and beats and you realise you are the presence of a fantastic live band whose song titles such as Hypnofolkadelia and Techno Celidh say it all. If you like bands such as The Peatbog Faeries then you are going to love a night in the company of Shooglenifty.
