The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club returns to The Wardrobe, Leeds with a full live set by sensational funk powehouse The Excitements plus presenter, DJ, actor and funkster Craig Charles manning the decks 'till 2am with the planet's funkiest tunes.
The Excitements
Spanish / US band The Excitements electrifying sound pays its respect to original funk and R&B legends such as Ike and Tina Turner, Etta James, Suger Pie de Santo and James Brown. Fronted by the amazing vocals and incredible stage presence of Koko Jean, The Excitements do exactly what it says on the packet - see you at the front for what promises to be a blistering, jaw-dropping night of unadulterated pure live funk power.
This event begins at 9pm but The Wardrobe Cafe Bar is open earlier for great food, drinks and good times.
