A fanstatic night aimed at older people featuring live music, dancing, screenings and the opportunity to have a fantastic fun night out at Manchester's favourite venue!

What's Happening

At 7.30 doors open on the main venue for an over 50's club night featuring Manchester DJ legend Mike Shaft and live music from 6 piece Memphis soul tribute band Checkmate. Dust off your dancing shoes and show off your favourite moves!!

Food, Films and Behind The Scenes Tour

Picturehouse Cafe Bar opens for food, drinks and good company from 5.00 with a tour of the newly refurbished venue, stalls, have a go at the harmonica, a chance to reminisce for our archive and watch old footage on our big screens. Dress to impress and relive the fashion of decades past.

This very special event is aimed at over 50s and their friends.

Band on the Wall Location

Band on the Wall is located in the city centre in the bustling and bohemian Northern Quarter - just 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station and 15 minutes walk from Piccadilly and Victoria Railway Stations.

Car Parking

There is car parking after 6pm on both sides of Swan Street where Band on the Wall is located. There are also 24hr NCP car parks within 5 minutes walk of the venue. These are open 24 hours and charge for parking:

Disabled Access

The auditorium, education rooms and Picturehouse are wheelchair accessible except for the main auditorium balcony. There is an induction loop in the foyer and fully adapted toilets. For further details please click here
