Information

George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff (1868 -1949) brought to the West his unique philosophy drawn from ancient spiritual traditions.

He taught that ‘man’ is asleep and needs to wake up to his true essential nature.  To this end, his ideas incorporate methods of work for the integration of mind, body and emotions through physical activities, art, crafts, music, drama, movements and psychological exercises.

“Making a New World” presents a rare public performance of Gurdjieff’s music, movements and readings from his teaching.
